Privacy Policy

Data we collect

For all users:

• Email address used for waitlist, invites, and login.
• Optional platform and handle information submitted on the waitlist or invite flow.
• Basic usage and security logs such as IP address and timestamps for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

For creators:

• Structured deal data extracted from uploaded contracts. Raw contract files are never retained.
• If you connect Instagram for verification, we collect basic identity details needed for proof-of-control: Instagram user ID and username.
• Full name if provided on your profile.

For talent managers and agencies:

• Agency name, full name, and contact information provided during account setup.
• Creator roster information including creator names, handles, platforms, and follower counts.
• Deal data uploaded on behalf of roster creators including compensation, deliverables, usage rights, and payment terms.
• Payment tracking records including expected payment dates, payment status, and follow-up history.
• Billing goals set for individual creators.
• Notes added to creator profiles.

How we use data

• Provide the CreatorBench product experience for both creators and talent managers.
• Power deal benchmarking using aggregated and anonymized deal data.
• Maintain dataset integrity and prevent spam or abuse.
• Operate invite-only access and account verification.
• Enable talent managers to manage their creator rosters, track deals, and monitor payments.
• Improve the product using aggregate anonymized patterns.

Contract Data and Document Processing

When you upload a contract to CreatorBench - whether as a creator uploading your own contract or as a manager uploading on behalf of a creator you represent - the document is processed immediately to extract structured deal information and then permanently deleted. We never store raw contracts.

• We process the document using automated systems to extract structured deal information such as compensation terms, usage rights, and deliverables.
• The extracted structured deal data is stored in our database to power benchmarking, analytics, and deal tracking.
• We do not use uploaded contracts to train public AI models. Document processing is used solely to extract deal terms for your use and for aggregated anonymized benchmarking.
• Manager-uploaded deal data is treated with the same privacy protections as creator-submitted data and is anonymized before use in platform-wide benchmarks.

Manager and Agency Data

Talent managers and agencies use CreatorBench to manage creator rosters and upload deal data on behalf of the creators they represent. When a manager uploads data on behalf of a creator:

• The deal data is associated with the creator's profile and visible to that manager.
• The data is anonymized before being included in platform-wide benchmarks.
• CreatorBench does not share roster data or deal details with other managers, brands, or third parties.
• Creators invited to the platform by a manager can view their own deal data.

If a manager's account is terminated or they remove a creator from their roster, deal data previously uploaded for that creator is retained in anonymized form for benchmarking purposes unless deletion is specifically requested.

Billing Data

For agencies and managers on paid subscriptions, we collect billing information necessary to process payments. We do not store full payment card details. Billing records including subscription tier, payment history, and invoices are retained for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not share identifiable deal submissions with brands, agencies, or other third parties.
• When we share insights, we do so in anonymized, aggregated form.
• We do not store raw contract files. Documents are permanently deleted immediately after data extraction.
• We do not share creator roster data between agencies.

Data retention

We retain data until you request deletion or as needed for security, legal, and compliance purposes. Anonymized benchmark data derived from deal submissions may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be traced back to individual users.

Security

We apply layered security controls including token-based access controls, hashing of sensitive tokens, least-privilege access patterns, and operational safeguards designed to reduce unauthorized access.

Your choices

• Request deletion at any time by emailing support@creatorbench.io.
• Creators may request removal of their deal data from the platform. Note that anonymized benchmark contributions cannot be reversed once aggregated.
• Managers may request deletion of their roster data and agency account.
• You may request Instagram verification data removal and disconnect Instagram if account unlinking is available.
